Piccolo2-OEM (PICO2-OEM)


The Piccolo2-OEM is a very compact fiber-optic oxygen meter intended for OEM applications. The technical performance of the Piccolo2-OEM is identical to the USB-device Piccolo2. There are only two principle differences:

(1) The Piccolo2-OEM additionally offers a temperature port for standard PT100 temperature sensors. Thus, the Piccolo2-OEM offers automatic temperature compensation of the oxygen measurement.

(2) The Piccolo2-OEM has no integrated USB-port. It offers a standard UART interface for integration in custom electronics. However, we offer an external USB adapter cable PICO2-USB including a licence for the Pyro Oxygen Logger software. When connected to this USB adapter cable, the Piccolo2-OEM can be comfortably configured and operated with a PC using the versatile Pyro Oxygen Logger software.

Oxygen Dipping Probe (OPDIP20). The oxygen dipping probe consists of a stainless steel tube 3mm in diameter and 200mm in length.

Robust Oxygen Probe (OPROB3). The robust oxygen probe consists of an optical fiber with 3mm outer diameter and 1m in length. The sensing tip is enclosed within a stainless steel tube 3mm in diameter and 30mm in length.

Contactless Oxygen Sensors. The Piccolo2 can be combined with a variety of contactless oxygen sensors from Pyro Science (e.g. flow-through cells, sensor spots, respiration vials, nanoprobes). More details can be found here...
